Finding His Voice

The welcoming environment and new opportunities in Lombard were the perfect catalysts for his growth. As Life Skills Instructor Jennifer said, the team focused on helping him find his voice.

Bradley quickly began to feel comfortable and open up. He enjoyed activities like using the computers at the library and going on social outings. Whether heading to the park for his favorite swings or engaging with newfound friends, he started to speak up, literally, more and more.

Growing Confidence

"Today, Bradley uses verbal communication more effective when he is communicating his wants and needs with others," Jennifer notes.

With each new word and phrase, Bradley's confidence grew. He is now better able to connect with friends, share his needs, and participate more fully in the activities he loves. Through the dedicated support of his CLS team, Bradley is confidently using his voice to shape his days.
