We are looking for caring and skilled staff to join our team as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). DSPs are the backbone of our organization, providing person-centered care and support to people with disabilities in their homes and communities.

As a DSP, you will:

Assist people with disabilities with their daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, and household chores
Support people with disabilities to participate in social, recreational, and educational activities of their choice, such as going to the movies, attending classes, or joining clubs
Encourage people with disabilities to express their preferences, interests, and dreams, and help them achieve their goals and outcomes
Advocate for the rights and dignity of people with disabilities and promote their inclusion and integration in society
Collaborate with other staff, family members, and service providers to ensure the best quality of care and support for people with disabilities

As a DSP at RGA, you will also become part of the Illinois Healthcare Worker Registry, which recognizes your qualifications and credentials as a DSP. You can learn more about being a DSP in this informational video.

Program Manager, Residential Services

Angela has been a devoted RGA team member for over 25 years. In recognition of her leadership and problem-solving skills, she was promoted from team leader to program manager.
