Taking Charge

With incredible determination, Anna took charge of her own journey. She personally called tutoring centers until she found the perfect fit at Huntington Learning Center.

"She took it upon herself to explore her options," explains Casi Mertes, Assistant Director of Community Living Resources, highlighting Anna's remarkable initiative.

A Foundation of Support

While Anna led the charge, her RGA residential team provided the foundational support that made her progress possible. They helped ensure she had what she needed to succeed, from assisting with banking for her transportation fare to cheering on her progress at home.

Hard Work Pays Off

Anna's hard work paid off. She rapidly surpassed multiple reading levels and earned a binder full of achievement awards. Her dedication was soon recognized at work, and she was promoted to Safety Captain—a major step toward her ultimate goal.

Today, Anna's journey is a powerful example of how a stable, supportive home environment empowers someone to confidently pursue their dreams in the community.
