Community Learning Services

We offer opportunities for people with disabilities to explore their interests and passions. Art, music, gardening, and more are at their fingertips through CLS activities and outings.

About Community Learning Services

At Ray Graham Association (RGA), we operate four Community Learning Services (CLS) hubs: Burr Ridge, Elmhurst, Naperville, and Lombard. Every weekday, your loved one can participate in activities that will help them grow their skills and have fun. Transportation may be available for those who need it. Each CLS is open on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Community as a Classroom

Each day, your loved one will have the chance to learn new things or meet new people. Each program focuses on seven main areas: music, art and sensory, technology, culinary skills, employment, community engagement, and leadership.

Benefits

  • Making Friends: Like everyone else, your loved one wants to build and deepen relationships. CLS helps them find friends and form connections in their community. The team members create a warm and welcoming environment where everyone is equal.
  • Recreation: A good life includes having fun. Your loved one can join activities they enjoy, like visiting a museum, going to the movies, hiking, or bowling.
  • Community Integration: CLS helps your loved one become more involved in their community. We partner with them and your community to hone their skills and be more independent.
