Gateway SRA Summer Camp (1)

About Gateway SRA

Residents of Burr Ridge, Elmhurst, Oak Brook, Countryside, Pleasant Dale, Westchester, York Center, Hinsdale, and Willowbrook can participate at a resident rate. We warmly welcome participants outside the geographic areas at a non-resident rate. Both year-round and seasonal activities help your loved one live a more active life. No matter their ability, we offer one-on-one support, larger social clubs, and special outings and trips. Also, if they want to compete in the Special Olympics Illinois, we’re here to coach them. Each summer, our eight-week day camp promotes healthy lifestyles for children and young adults ages 5 to 22. They will build team skills through arts and crafts, sports, service projects, swimming, and field trips. As part of RGA, they’ll also have the chance to enjoy therapeutic horseback riding.

There are plenty of programs for your loved one to choose from, all designed to be as unique as they are. They can choose from health and wellness activities like Tai Chi, athletics like basketball and softball, social clubs, special events, one-on-one support, and even virtual recreation.
