Embrace and Celebrate Diversity
A message to families, team members, and supporters from President & CEO Kim Zoeller

We are all saddened and angered by the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis last week and the subsequent violence in response. Mr. Floyd’s death is the latest in a series of disturbing incidents, reminding us of the stark racial disparities that exist in our communities. As an organization dedicated to helping people with disabilities, we acknowledge that other marginalized communities are deeply affected by racism, including the people of color with disabilities that we serve. With compassion and purpose, we work every day to ensure that each member of the Ray Graham Association family is valued, supported, and respected.

Guided by our values, Ray Graham Association champions inclusion and respect. We embrace, celebrate, and defend diversity in all its forms. Through all challenges, we will work to improve the quality of life for people with developmental disabilities. Our team members have demonstrated remarkable resilience in caring for them. Together, we will continue to learn from their experiences with each other and the communities in which we live and work.

Ray Graham Association continues to prioritize providing a safe and healthy environment for the people we serve and our team members, where all people belong.

Your resilience in the face of the obstacles we have encountered this year assures me that we will help lead the country toward a more equitable future.
